This is primarily on-site game jam. You are welcome to jam via Discord too, but we do not stream opening ceremony or organize team building in Discord. Submissions are open for everyone in Itch.io page. Register to the jam below!

We welcome you to join the Global Quantum Game Jam 2024, an event where you will collaborate with game developers, quantum physicists, visual artists, musicians, engineers and other creatives in order to develop games that connect to quantum physics either through real machinery or simply thematically!

Materials about both game development and quantum physics will also be shared before the event. No prerequisites required, merely the curiosity and an interest in quantum games!

Do you like drawinging characters?
Do you want to learn from the best possible professional!?
Maroto (you might know him as Bambinomonkey) has worked in the animation industry for over 16 years for some of the largest animation and VFX companies out there - Nexus, the Mill, Sony, Psyop and more.
He has also been working with Pori-based Nopia since Teemu Erämaa founded the company in 2010.
Maroto has an extensive, impressive resume of work as a concept artist, illustrator, and art director.

In the workshop Maroto will tell some theory on illustration and he will showcase his working methods. If you enjoy drawing and have been thinking about career in games or animation, this is the workshop to be!
Maroto will participate via Zoom from Spain while IGDA Pori moderators are in Finland.

Welcome to the IGDA Future GameDev Workshops at Assembly Online 2020!
This year Assembly is taking place online and so are IGDA Future workshops – we have prepared art, tech and gaming content that will give you hands-on-experience in creating awesome 3D models, pixel art, shaders and retro games as well as tips and tricks on online roleplaying practices.
