Over 1,500 games industry professionals will gather in Helsinki on September 12-13 to network, discover, pitch and learn from 200 of the world’s top experts.
Mobile, PC and console, blockchain, VR/AR and more will be covered, across unmissable conference tracks. Our speakers and panellists will share their expert insight into design and development, monetisation and growth, AI, blockchain and loads more.
The event is called Connects because that’s what we help you do; connect with the whole gaming industry, from students and indie studios to the media, international investors and publishers. The Mobile edition of the Very Big Indie Pitch will take place at Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki on Tuesday September 27th from 14:00-17:00. This unique speed dating format gives each developer five minutes (including Q&A) with each panel of experts, meaning all entrants will get feedback in real-time and post-event via email too. Think speed-dating for developers and experts, and you get the idea.
The basic criteria:
You can pitch games for Mobile, Mobile VR and AR
You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
They prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too
They allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)
The deadline for submissions is September 16th.

A much-loved part of the games industry calendar is set to return bigger than ever in 2019! That's right, Pocket Gamer Connects is back in Finland, the spiritual home of the mobile games industry, for the 6th time on October 1-2 – and it’s already shaping up to be the best yet.
Taking place in the days following the IGDA Leadership Day, Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki 2019 represents an unparalleled opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most creative and successful games developers on their home turf. It’ll be the country’s biggest B2B games conference, not to mention one of the biggest in the entire Nordic region with over 1,300 international delegates and over 600 companies from 50 different countries expected to attend. And since the show is even bigger and better this year, we’re moving to an awesome new venue with more space on offer at The Cable Factory.
