Attention Indie Developers: Are you currently working on a new mobile, smartwatch, or handheld game?

The Mobile edition of the Very Big Indie Pitch will take place at Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki on Tuesday September 27th from 14:00-17:00. This unique speed dating format gives each developer five minutes (including Q&A) with each panel of experts, meaning all entrants will get feedback in real-time and post-event via email too. Think speed-dating for developers and experts, and you get the idea.

The basic criteria:

  • You can pitch games for Mobile, Mobile VR and AR

  • You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP

  • They prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too

  • They allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)

The deadline for submissions is September 16th.

Mobidictum: Call for Speakers

The Mobidictum Business Event is the largest game industry conference in Turkey and MENA region and aim to grow the game industry in the region by bringing world-class publishers, service providers, and game companies to Turkey. The event will take place in Istanbul on Sept 5-6, 2022 and is organized by Mobidictum, a mobile gaming news platform focusing on Turkey.

Anyone interested in speaking should fill in their application form before the July 1 deadline.

The Game Industry Conference will return this year with a new hybrid format from October 22-24, 2021. This show be a connecting point for the game industry, combinng streams and online features with on-site elements, while provide meeting opportunities for those who seek knowledge and business opportunities.

The organizing committee just announced their call for speakers. Speakers have the option of speaking at the show in Poznan, Poland or remotely online.

Game Wave: Call for Speakers

The Game Wave Festival is an international event currently planned to take place from September 24-26, 2021 on-site in Jūrmala, Latvia. The event is created to be a balance between fun, relaxation, education and business.

It incorporates a conference, exposition/showroom of games, technology and art, job market/talent pool, B2B meetings, games pitching, a game jam and an afterparty. The conference will take place in Jūrmala, the largest resort city on the shores of the Baltic Sea, in a 5 star spa & resort hotel, right by the beach.
