IGDA Finland / Sweden presents: AWS talks

It's time for the last events before long-awaited summer vacations!

This time we are doing things a little bit different: we're organising three different events in tandem with IGDA Finland and Sweden in a collaboration with AWS.

Each week starting on the 4th of May, we'll have a seminar, culminating on the Nordic Games Conference, where we have a Mentor Cafe.
4th of May: Game Server Hosting on AWS.
11th of May: AI/Machine learning for Games on AWS.
18th of May: Building a game analytics pipeline for faster, smarter decision making.
Finally, the week after that is NGC and our Mentor Cafe.

So let's get it on!

The first seminar: Game Server Hosting on AWS.

WHAT:
When planning a new game or migrating an existing game, developers must consider many variables that affect game operations and player experience, such as the location of game servers relative to players and performance requirements, security, and costs associated with managing and maintaining your game server environment. In this tech talk, developers will learn what options are available for deploying and monitoring game server environments, as well as how game design influences server environments and the specific choice of game servers, with a focus on how AWS can help.

WHEN:
4th of May at 18:00 (EEST)

The presenter of this talk will be Juho Jantunen, Senior Solutions Architect, AWS Game Tech.

Stay tuned for more news and see you soon!
