Joining IGDA Finland ry
Why join?
IGDA Finland is a non-profit operating 100% on volunteer sweat and blood with no salaries paid to anyone. As a member of IGDA Finland, you support our local game development community and also get all current IGDA main organisation benefits.

Studio Affiliation
The Finnish game development community is often referred to as one of the best in the whole world because of the spirit of cooperation we have. Becoming a studio affiliate is both a statement and a concrete step towards making sure that it will continue for decades to come. IGDA membership promotes personal growth for your employees and also provides a platform for foreign talent to integrate faster in to our scene. It also makes us, the Finnish community, look unified towards the rest of the world. Win-win?
We will do our best to highlight your studio as often as possible in our website and print materials.

Partner Affiliates
Join the IGDA Finland community as a Partner Affiliate!
Even if you are not directly involved in game development, you can still support the Finnish game scene and increase your company's exposure by becoming a Partner Affiliate. The key is to think of ways to give back to the community in a constructive and mutually beneficial manner. By expressing goodwill and offering valuable information, such as tech agnostic best practices and workshops, you can help people level up their game so they will see the benefits of what your company does. CV and portfolio support are other examples of how some partners have contributed in the past.
Spamming members with marketing messages is not allowed, expressing goodwill is more effective way to reach the audience and helps your company to be considered as "one of the great ones" in the community.
